The Dell

I have a pretty good life. I love, and am loved by, a wonderful man who is my soft place to fall. I wake up every morning slowly and at my pace with a coffee which is served to me in bed. So I gently meet the day.

I get to volunteer. Give back the knowledge I have gained in my varied life. Helping to set people up to be fulfilled and seen.

I have the time to write a novel. And I love every moment of the process. I inhabit another realm and time passes in a flash. I am immersed in the creating. I am happy.

The icing on the cake, the big enchilada,the crowing glory and the perfect flourish would be my novel published and read by many. I want to go into a bookshop and look at my novel on the shelf. Just a moment between me and the life I have created.

That would perfect my life. But, you know, my life is pretty perfect anyway. I am content.
